An amazing starter: Smoked Salmon topped with toasted almonds, favas, flowers, sun dried tomatoes, tarragon sprigs and a light basil vinaigrette.
The restaurant Les Ombres was our first meal in Paris on a trip we took about a year ago. We spent the morning wandering through a farmers market and found ourselves near the Eiffel Tower. A quick search on led us to this rooftop restaurant with an amazing view. After a long flight, this was the perfect starter.
Another starter: Tomato gelee’ with a meyer lemon foam and basil oil
Sharing our meals is a regular routine…especially in a city like Paris. This was the other starter we ordered. Didn’t know tomatoes could taste so intense. Super elegant and not too hard to look at either.
View of the Tower from our window seat at the restaurant. Made us feel like tourists…but loved it.
